While out riding in the country we came across a body of water with pond lillies. I asked my husband to stop so I could take a photo. Have always wanted one of pond lillies. While looking at them I noticed a couple of shadows so brought them up in my photo program. The shadows that I thought might be fish were GATORS! They were headed right for the side I was standing by the road. There were two signs posted DO NOT FEED gators but we jokingly said yeah really.
The shadow image behind leaf beyond the lily is a gator! There is another gator right behind it. Hubby did caution me not to get to close to the water just in case. Wow! What a surprise and heart attack zone I'd have been in had it shown its head. To see a real one and get a photo without harm would be a dream come true for me.
