My photo
Having a large Scottish heritage that migrated from England into Canada to Maine and other states. I am from a family of 9. Six girls and 3 boys. My dad died young when I was about 8 years old. I have 4 children and 3 step children with the great joy of 20 grandchildren. I worked in financial institutions and accounting for many years. Now I sew and make lots of stuffed animals and many other things. I'm a grandmother that has years of sewing in a wide variety of catagories. Photography has become one of my passions over the years. Nature that God has presented us is one of the greatest to photograph. My family and pets hate to see me with a camera in my hands. The bug took hold at Christmas time taking photos of my children in front of the tree. That became a tradition. Then you have family gatherings, vacations, grandchildren and the list could go on.

Maine vacation and family reunion

We are back from our wonderful vacation to Maine. Visiting family members and having a family reunion at Sebec Lake on my husbands side for the first time in decades. Our visit and travel was over a ten day period.

The traveling in both directions was a nightmare with bumper to bumper traffic and rain. In future home visits we will not be taking the GW bridge! It is worth the few extra miles to take the parkway.

We left our two cats with food and water in the garage. Our neighbor making sure the dishes were filled. They have a cat door for easy access. The neighbor said that the black cat disappeared as soon as we left, not to be seen again. She still has not returned home. The other one Shadow has become very clingy and not hardly out of our site only to do her business and return. She has been sleeping on our bed between us since we returned home from Maine. Usually, we are able to close our bedroom door. Not so since returning.

She Disappeared.

Yearly Trip To Massanutten Timeshare in Virginia

Each year we take a vacation to our timeshare in the Blue Ridge Mountains at Massanutten Mountainside Villas. The sight is breathtaking.

There is much wildlife. The deer roam freely, not fearing man(seems against nature) but keeping their distance.

At the entrance to the mountain there is a public water park now with indoor and outdoor features. This has become quite a popular activity. There trips with tours to DC, local caverns, plays and musicals and so much more.

Golf courses, activity pool centers, miniature golf just to mention some.

We are there a week each year. It is a deeded timeshare so it can be handed down through our generations of family.
